The blockchain gaming platform PLAYDAPP suffered a total loss of $290 million worth of $PLA tokens in two separate hacking incidents. The first attack occurred on February 9th, resulting in the minting of 200 million $PLA tokens, valued at $36.5 million. Subsequently, on February 12th, negotiations with the hackers failed, leading to the minting of an additional 1.59 billion $PLA tokens, valued at $253.9 million, and the initiation of money laundering activities on cryptocurrency trading platforms. On February 13th, PLAYDAPP announced the temporary suspension of the $PLA smart contract.
