The issue was quickly discovered and the affected addresses were frozen by notifying the exchanges. Law enforcement agencies have been involved.

<p>According to Lookonchain monitoring, four wallets belonging to Chris Larsen, co-founder of Ripple, have been hacked, resulting in a total loss of 237 million XRP (approximately $117.4 million).</p>
<p>Out of the total, 212 million XRP (approximately $105 million) has been transferred to exchanges, while the remaining 25 million XRP (approximately $12.35 million) is still held in the wallet with the address "rHVjfY".</p>
<p>In a <a href="https://www.techflowpost.com/newsletter/detail_39798.html" target="_blank">previous statement</a>, Chris Larsen, co-founder and executive chairman of Ripple, stated, "Yesterday, some of my personal XRP accounts (not Ripple) were accessed without authorization. We quickly identified the issue and notified the exchanges to freeze the affected addresses. Law enforcement agencies have been involved."</p>
