Chris Larsen, co-founder and executive chairman of RIPPLE, has announced that his personal $XRP account was accessed without authorization, resulting in the theft of approximately 213 million $XRP (equivalent to around 110 million USD). Upon discovering the incident, they promptly identified the issue and notified the exchanges to freeze the affected addresses. Law enforcement agencies have been involved in the investigation. According to ZACHXBT monitoring, the stolen funds have been laundered through multiple exchanges.
