✨ The Year of Aurory ✨

With 2024 well underway, we wanted to share a quick overview of some of the most exciting milestones we’ve got brewing on our short/medium term roadmap.

After the countless raving reviews we've received on the Seekers of Tokane alpha, our conviction in this product has only become stronger.

SoT will continue to be our main focus through 2024, with major content updates planned that will take it from its current alpha state, to a full fledged game, playable across multiple platforms.

While additional features are under development, we plan to make live-ops events a regular occurrence to keep things fresh, engaging, and rewarding for our players.

Right before the holidays, we announced our first SoT event (Lucky Land Rush), and we’ve got additional events planned for Q1 that will drive demand to $AURY and various in-game assets.

A number of significant patches are also being targeted for the first half of the year. Players can look forward to exciting new features that will bring us closer to the full rogue-lite experience we envision. This will include things like chained lands, which increases difficulty and rewards potential the further into lands you progress, as well as a new “Squad” loadout system, which raises stakes by limiting players to only select Nefties and items in their inventory while exploring lands!

Some additional things we’re excited to be working on:

🐣 New eggs and regular new Neftie releases.
🗓️ Daily & weekly challenges to reward players for their continuous engagement.
🧪 Consumable items which will give players an edge in Everlasting Lands and Blitz Battles.
🎚️ Amplifier updates to allow standard Nefties to be leveled up.
🐅 Neftie chromas which will allow players to hatch and collect Nefties with rare color patterns.
👑 VIP ranking system which will allow players to unlock new benefits based on their implications to the Aurory ecosystem.
🏋️ Neftie training to teach your Nefties new combat abilities.
🌥️ Day & night cycles which will allow players to increase their chances of encountering specific Nefties depending on the time of day that they explore.
⛏️ Resource collection which will allow players to craft their own potions and consumables.
📲 Exclusive mobile R&D playtests with some of our most active and loyal community members.

On the marketing front, we plan to engage with various projects across the ecosystem to explore partnership opportunities varying from NFTs/code giveaways, game nights, tournaments, and even IP integrations in Seekers of Tokane. Through these initiatives we expect to welcome many new members to our community of gaming and web3 enthusiasts throughout the year.

Despite SoT being our new flagship product, we recognize our passionate player-base who love the complexity and strategy involved in Aurory Tactics. That said, we've quietly been conducting some R&D on a revamped version of this game through our new internal Aurory Labs department.

The goal is to soon present an evolved version that’s more friendly to new players, while still appealing to the competitive gamer. Tons of quality of life upgrades are also planned that will significantly enhance and give more depth to the player experience. We look forward to sharing more on this in the near future!

Last, but not least, we’re incredibly excited to bring you all the long awaited Aurorian art upgrade, which is currently targeted for this spring.

It’s no secret that the @MadLads artwork (done by our incredibly talented co-founder @YannPenno) has deeply resonated with NFT enthusiasts around the world due to the unique style and attention to detail.

We look forward to bringing that same level of resonance and excitement to current and new holders with a much needed upgrade that will serve as a catalyst for the new Aurorian era.

There is more that we’ve got cooking but we’ll save that for future update. 2024 is going to be a big year for our industry and the timing couldn’t be any better for where we’re at in our building cycle.
