AxonDAO Governance Token

AxonDAO Governance Token (AXGT) is the native token of AxonDAO, a decentralized organization dedicated to advancing decentralized science (DeSci). AXGT empowers token holders to participate in governance, vote on proposals, and guide the allocation of research funding, thereby decentralizing authority from traditional institutions to individual researchers and the community.

AxonDAO originated as a telemedicine clinical data startup in 2013 and transitioned into a DAO in 2021, marking a significant evolution in its operational model. This transformation underscores a commitment to DeSci, aiming to make scientific research more transparent, secure, and objective.

A notable project within AxonDAO is A+ Voice, which utilizes a biometric precognitive voice AI+ system to facilitate decentralized clinical research. Participants can contribute their voice data to research while retaining full ownership and control, revolutionizing the use of data in scientific advancement.

AxonDAO has achieved significant milestones, including approval into NVIDIA's Inception Program in 2023, providing advanced computing resources for its research initiatives. The organization has also gained recognition within the DeSci community, receiving support in two rounds of Gitcoin funding and acknowledgment through the Polygon DeSci Voucher.

Looking ahead, AxonDAO's roadmap includes pioneering research in areas such as microdosing protocols, PTSD studies for first responders and veterans, biometric research on dementia and Alzheimer's disease, ultrasound therapy, and psychedelic therapy clinical trials.
