He was also a technology investor at NEA, one of the world's largest VC funds with over $20 billion in AUM. Before that, Yida was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in New York City, where he helped execute deals worth a total of $15 billion. Yida graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science, and was a varsity pole vaulter. He attended Stanford GSB for a brief period before dropping out to join Struck Capital.
