Xiaojun Zhang is a co-founder of Cango and formerly served as its chairman. Since 2016, Mr. Zhang has also served as chairman and general manager of Shanghai Chejia. Prior to co-founding the Company, Mr. Zhang served as director and general manager of SAIC-GM Automotive Finance Co., Ltd. from 2004 to 2013. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Zhang served as deputy general manager of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation Finance Co., Ltd. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Zhang served as Financial Manager at the Shanghai Branch of the People's Bank of China. Mr. Zhang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 1992, a Master's degree in Business Administration from Peking University in 2003, and completed the Harvard Business School China Executive Education Program in 2018, thereby gaining alumni status.
