Stephan was one of the original backers and Board Members of Outlier Ventures and then joined operationally as third Founding Partner in the role of Managing Partner in 2016. Prior to Outlier Ventures, Stephan was a senior investment banker at Merrill Lynch International, later acquired by Bank of America, and Moelis & Company, leading M&A and equity capital market transactions for financial institutions and asset managers.
