Naïri Usher is Chief Scientist at Flare Networks. Previously Postdoctoral researcher in Quantum Machine Learning UCL. Worked in collaboration with Siemens on applications of quantum algorithms to healthcare and image recognition. She completed her PhD in quantum computing, where her thesis considered models of quantum computing, probing the connection between physical resources and computational power. She was then a postdoc within UCL’s Department of Computer Science, working in quantum and classical machine learning, where she collaborated with Siemens in order to study how quantum algorithms could be harnessed for learning tasks.
