Jurrien Timmer is the Director of Global Macro at Fidelity Investments. He is part of Fidelity's Global Asset Allocation group, where he specializes in asset allocation and global macro strategy. Jurrien has been at Fidelity for 27 years and has close to four decades of experience in the industry. nnPrior to assuming his current position in 2005, Mr. Timmer held various other roles within Fidelity, including director of market research and technical research analyst. He also co-managed Fidelity Global.nnJurrien earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Babson College. He was born and raised a Dutch citizen in Aruba and has been living in the United States all of his adult life. He became a US citizen in 2002.
