Beryl Li is a co-founder of Yield Guild Games (YGG), the world’s first and biggest decentralized network of gaming guilds focused on blockchain games and web3 education. YGG is committed to providing opportunities for its members to achieve success in the open Metaverse. Beryl’s work at YGG has earned her a place on J.P. Morgan Private Bank's Top 100 list of Women-Powered Businesses in the Asia-Pacific and Tatler Asia’s Generation T List of 2022. She is also part of the World Economic Forum’s inaugural cohort of Technology Pioneers and Unicorns.As a fintech entrepreneur, Beryl co-founded CapchainX, an asset tokenization platform that was acquired by SMKG in 2019, and was on the founding team at Coins.ph, a leading crypto exchange in the Philippines that was acquired by Gojek in 2019. She also has vast experience working with financial institutions such as BlackRock London and UnionBank of the Philippines, as well as government agencies, such as the Philippines’ Department of Information and Communications (DICT).Beryl holds a Master of Finance from Cambridge University where she sat as President of the Cambridge University Cryptocurrency Society in her final year of study. She is passionate about financial empowerment, especially in emerging economies.
