On october 17, the berlin senate will hold its second day of the open door, during which the interior administration of the senate will open the berlin police headquarters to the public. similar to a year ago, the motto of this year is "bode, hochbau, reform." the entire day will be filled with various activities ranging from exhibitions to lectures, discussions, and guided tours.

about a year ago, open door day was organized by berliner polizei, which utilized the opportunity to present itself to citizens and visitors in various ways. this year, the day will be expanded to include agencies such as the federal criminal police office (bka), berlin prosecution, and the berlin state office of criminal investigation (lka).

around 50 stands will be set up in the headquarters area, showcasing the work and methods of the different departments. both agencies will offer their information booths for citizens to learn about their work and ask questions.

in the 24th police district on bielenberger weg in tempelhof, activities for children and families are also being readied.
