A new Gallup poll shows that although cryptocurrency ownership has grown nearly 8-fold since 2018, with 14% of U.S. adults now holding crypto assets, 64% of investors still view it as a "very risky" investment. 60% of respondents said they have no interest in cryptocurrencies, and only 4% have plans to buy them in the near future. The survey also showed that crypto holders are concentrated among young men and high-income earners, with lower participation among women, older adults, and low-income groups. Although most people have heard of cryptocurrencies, only 35% say they truly understand how they work. [CoinDesk]
