My time, effort, and energy in so many projects and nothing to show for it has taken a toll. If I go back even slightly further than that, it is a lot of time lost for nothing. I think I need to head back to the fundamentals. It's hard to say what I have learned and whether it is worth it, but I do really feel like I have an understanding of where the space is at today. I know that I have been able to identify many projects with promise. If I left it at that, I would be very hard on myself (it's almost too easy to enter the lottery of wallets) but I don't think the time lost is so bad. I just need to review and revamp some of my processes and return to the work of understanding what is separating the projects that I believe in from the ones that are producing real value.
