VeBetterDAO

VeBetterDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) built on the VeChainThor blockchain, aiming to promote sustainability by incentivizing eco-friendly actions through its native utility token, B3TR. The platform serves as a hub for various "X-to-Earn" decentralized applications (dApps) that reward users for engaging in sustainable practices, effectively placing the power for environmental change into the hands of the community.

At the heart of VeBetterDAO's ecosystem lies the B3TR token, an ERC-20 token with a capped supply of 1 billion tokens. B3TR functions as the primary incentive mechanism within the platform, rewarding users for participating in sustainability-focused dApps and contributing to the DAO's initiatives. The token's distribution is managed through a weekly issuance schedule spanning 12 years, ensuring a gradual and sustained release into the ecosystem.

Complementing B3TR is the VOT3 token, which serves as the governance token for VeBetterDAO. Holders of VOT3 have the ability to participate in the decision-making processes of the DAO, including voting on proposals and allocations that determine how funds are distributed among the various dApps within the ecosystem. The governance structure is designed to be fully decentralized, allowing any community member to create proposals by depositing VOT3 tokens. Successful proposals are executed via the TimeLock contract, ensuring transparency and security in governance decisions.
