Pipe Network is a permissionless full-stack cloud that reimagines how data is delivered, stored, and routed. Instead of relying on centralized hyperscale data centers, it operates through a distributed mesh of hyperlocal Points of Presence (PoPs) — community or ISP-hosted nodes located within ~50 miles of end users — offering cloud-grade performance without central control.
At the core of Pipe’s architecture are these hyperlocalized PoP nodes, which bring compute and data delivery closer to users. This proximity enables sub-10ms latency, higher throughput, and greater resilience, while extending coverage to regions typically ignored by hyperscalers. The network dynamically routes traffic around congestion and outages, ensuring both speed and reliability.
Built atop this PoP fabric is a unified product stack that includes: Pipe CDN for high-performance content delivery across gaming, AI, and dApp workloads; Firestarter Storage for decentralized origin storage; and P1 Overlay Network — a software-defined routing layer that intelligently weaves together the fastest global paths.
