Pi Network

Pi Network was founded by a group of Stanford PhD graduates who wanted to combine their expertise in computer and social sciences to overcome key barriers to cryptocurrency accessibility and adoption. Officially launched on March 14, 2019 (Pi Day), Pi Network aims to build the next generation of web integrated with blockchain technology, offering a solution that encourages global community participation. Since its launch, the project has seen continuous growth in its user base and community engagement.

Pi Network's vision is to create the world’s most inclusive peer-to-peer ecosystem, powered by Pi, the world’s most widely distributed cryptocurrency. The network relies on its community of "Pioneers" to mine Pi tokens through a mobile mining mechanism, enabling users to contribute to and benefit from the development of the Web3 app ecosystem.
