Mitosis is a DeFi protocol that turns liquidity positions into programmable components while solving inefficiencies in traditional systems. Instead of locking assets in static pools or reserving opportunities for large investors, users deposit into Vaults and receive Hub Assets that can be allocated through Ecosystem-Owned Liquidity (EOL) or Matrix. These frameworks issue position tokens, miAssets and maAssets, enabling broader participation in yield opportunities.
The protocol makes liquidity flexible and composable. Position tokens can be traded, used as collateral, split into principal and yield, or combined to create new instruments. Supported by the Mitosis Chain’s infrastructure, this programmability allows advanced strategies, accurate settlement across networks, and the creation of innovative DeFi applications.
By pooling deposits and enabling collective governance, Mitosis gives all participants access to yields once exclusive to large players. Its transparent, standardized design ensures fair price discovery and democratized access, redefining liquidity as dynamic building blocks for a more efficient and inclusive DeFi ecosystem.
