InstaDApp, now rebranded as Fluid (FLUID), is an Ethereum-based open-source platform specializing in decentralized finance (DeFi) smart contract accounts (DSAs) and integrated wallet functionality. It enables users to manage their DeFi assets across multiple protocols and blockchains seamlessly. At its core, Fluid connects various DeFi protocols and integrates other decentralized applications (DApps) to provide a unified platform for managing funds. Additionally, it functions as a software wallet with an intuitive design, facilitating interactions with popular DeFi projects such as Compound, Uniswap, and more.

Launched in 2019, Fluid was developed to make DeFi more accessible and user-friendly. Over the years, it has grown into a critical piece of DeFi infrastructure, with significant milestones such as the creation of nearly 55,000 Instadapp DSAs and over $5 billion in total value locked (TVL) in these accounts. Fluid also plays a significant role in the Ethereum ecosystem, with more than 50% of all flash-loan volume on Ethereum originating through its platform.

A notable event in Fluid's evolution was the introduction of the FLUID governance token, allowing for community-led protocol upgrades through open discussion and voting by FLUID token holders. Fluid also launched liquidity mining and staking programs on Uniswap v3, rewarding participants with FLUID tokens.

Currently, Fluid continues to innovate with a suite of advanced features and applications. The Fluid Protocol offers DeFi lending and borrowing with high loan-to-value ratios and innovative liquidation mechanisms. Avocado, a superwallet, simplifies gas management and cross-network interactions. Fluid Pro provides tools for leveraging, refinancing, and migrating DeFi positions with automation and batch operations, while Fluid Lite enables users to access popular DeFi strategies by depositing stETH. Governance of Fluid is now in the hands of FLUID token holders, who can participate in both on-chain and off-chain voting.
