On February 13th, Binance founder CZ revealed on social media that he owns a Belgian Malinois dog named Broccoli. This revelation immediately sparked intense discussions in the community, with users playing detective and searching through past tweets and reports to guess the dog's name.

As the name "CZ's Dog" gained traction, numerous meme coins associated with the dog flooded the blockchain, rapidly increasing in market cap. One version of the BROCCOLI token briefly hit a $400 million market cap before dropping to around $74 million. In the first two hours, over $220 million in trading volume was generated, with several wallets making significant profits.

However, despite the frenzy surrounding these tokens, CZ made it clear that he is not backing any of them. He clarified in a tweet that he is not issuing a meme coin and simply shared a photo of his dog and its name, as requested by some of his followers.
