🔹 The acquisition positions Ripple as the first crypto-native company to own and operate a multi-asset prime brokerage platform. Ripple plans to inject fresh capital into the firm to scale clearing, financing, and global brokerage capabilities.

🔹 The deal significantly strengthens Ripple’s stablecoin strategy. Hidden Road will adopt Ripple’s U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin, #RLUSD, as collateral across its platform, making it the first stablecoin enabling efficient cross-margining between traditional and digital asset markets.

🔹 Hidden Road also plans to migrate post-trade operations to the $XRP Ledger (XRPL) to reduce costs and streamline settlement—another nod to XRPL’s readiness for institutional DeFi.
