According to a report by Jin10 Data on March 24, Deep Tide TechFlow reported that Goldman Sachs' prime brokerage report for the week ending March 21 showed that hedge funds reached their highest net selling scale in U.S. stocks in seven weeks, with short-selling activities exceeding long buying.
From an industry perspective, among the 11 U.S. sectors, 8 recorded net selling, led by industrials, consumer discretionary, information technology, healthcare, and real estate. Meanwhile, financials, energy, and materials were the only three sectors with net buying.
